The terms for using Plug to create, manage and export AI-generated videos.
Draft updated:
1. Using Plug
These terms are a draft agreement between you and PLUG AI INC, the operator of Plug, with its business address at 228 Park Ave S, #48791, New York, NY 10003, United States of America. By using Plug after the final terms take effect, you agree to those terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind it.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement. Keep account access secure and ensure your workspace members use Plug responsibly. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
2. What the service does
Plug provides tools to draft scripts, generate or edit video and audio, create presenter-led ads and product demos, prepare property videos, research sources, and export or publish content through supported integrations. Available features, providers, usage limits and processing times can change.
Generation can fail, be withheld by quality or permission checks, or produce a recovery preview. An automated quality check does not establish factual accuracy, legal clearance, advertising compliance or commercial performance.
3. Purchases and credits
Current checkout purchases are one-time credit packs, not recurring subscriptions. The selected pack and total price are shown before payment in Stripe checkout. There is no automatic renewal. New accounts receive no automatic welcome credits during the pre-launch period.
Credits are added only after Stripe confirms a successful live payment. A return to the app from checkout does not itself confirm payment. If payment confirmation is delayed, credit availability may also be delayed. When checkout is unavailable, no purchase or free substitute grant is made.
Generation costs are shown before submission. Plug reserves or charges the required workspace credits when you submit a job. If generation fails or delivery is withheld, the reserved generation credits are returned once under the applicable job-settlement rules. A credit return is not a refund to your payment card.
Unused credits remain in your workspace wallet. Credits are service units, not money, and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside Plug. Contact the team about duplicate or incorrect charges and payment refund requests. Any mandatory statutory refund or consumer rights remain unaffected.
Prices may change for future purchases. Existing credit balances are not removed by disabling welcome grants. Limits may still apply to generation even when a workspace has sufficient credits.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain rights you hold in content you upload. You grant Plug permission to host, copy, process, adapt and transmit that content to the providers needed to operate the features you request, and to produce, store and deliver outputs.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for product imagery, music, video, screen recordings, websites, property photos, brand assets and other material you submit. You must have valid permission for any person’s face, voice or likeness used as a presenter. A checkbox or consent record in Plug does not replace your responsibility to obtain that permission.
You are responsible for accuracy and substantiation of claims, releases and disclosures, and for complying with advertising rules and the terms of destination platforms.
5. AI outputs and review
AI output can contain errors, fabricated details, artifacts or material similar to another user’s output. Review each script and finished file before use. Do not rely on generated statements as professional advice or verified facts.
As between you and Plug, you may use delivered outputs to the extent allowed by the rights in your inputs and the applicable model, stock-media, voice and presenter licenses. Plug does not guarantee exclusivity, copyright eligibility, non-infringement or unrestricted commercial rights in every component.
You must make any required AI-content or advertising disclosures. Do not portray a synthetic presenter as a real person’s endorsement without authorization.
6. Prohibited uses
Do not use Plug for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive activity; non-consensual impersonation or sexual content; infringement of privacy, publicity or intellectual-property rights; or content that exploits children. Do not evade permissions, forge payments, manipulate credit balances, share unauthorized access, bypass usage limits or interfere with service security.
We may reject content, withhold exports or suspend access when necessary to investigate abuse, protect users and providers, or comply with law. We will handle affected purchases and balances consistently with applicable law.
7. Connected services and publishing
Google sign-in, Stripe payments, AI providers, media sources and Meta are separate services subject to their own terms. Connecting an account authorizes Plug to perform the supported actions you request within the permissions granted.
Check the destination account, Page, media and text before publishing. Disconnecting a service does not retract already-published content. Meta advertising spend is separate from Plug credit purchases and is managed through Meta.
8. Availability and account closure
Plug may be interrupted by maintenance, capacity limits or provider outages. Keep copies of important source material and delivered files. Pre-launch features may change or be withdrawn.
You may stop using Plug at any time and request account closure through the contact below. Closure and deletion are subject to identity checks, workspace permissions and the retention needs explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Responsibility and applicable rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free output or a particular business result. You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use generated content.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Any additional allocation of liability, governing law and dispute-resolution provisions must be reviewed for PLUG AI INC and its customer locations before this draft is finalized.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes to the final terms will be communicated before they apply where required. The updated date will appear on this page.
